Product description

Sodium hydroxide is one of the basic chemical raw materials and is used in virtually every branch of industry.

Application

Used as a raw material in various organic and inorganic syntheses, for the production of ionic surfactants, fats and soaps, in the pharmaceutical industry, in aluminium production and for obtaining water glass. It is also widely used as an auxiliary raw material in the pulp and paper industry, in petrochemical processes, in the production of synthetic dyes, in the treatment of liquid coking products, in industrial water treatment (e.g. in combined heat and power plants), in wastewater treatment and in the food industry as a cleaning and disinfecting agent.
