Sodium persulphate

Application

It is used as an oxidising and bleaching agent, in the production of printed circuit boards for cleaning and etching boards prior to the electroless copper plating process. Its action increases the surface roughness of the board, allowing a stronger bond between the applied copper and the board, without damaging the material the board is made of.
